    Cold Water Rinse
    Morning TOST
    Burma Shave Boar
    Schick L1 Injector
    Personna
    CWR
    Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS

The Morning TOST Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Burma Shave Boar Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Schick L1 Injector with a Personna blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Ice Blue AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Thursday morning:

    L’Oreal Men Expert Facial Wash
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/Derby day 6
    Bundubeard Kudu’s Kick SS
    Prep ASB
    Alcolado Glacial Menthol Splash
    Bleu de Chanel EdP

Jaco’s soaps are absolutely brilliant - the Kudu, like the others from the “Kick” series has that same delightful coffee/peppermint scent, I can’t begin to explain how much of a pleasure it is to work up the lather not to mention how thick it is as well as the slickness it gives, and the menthol sensation is fantastic. This soap is supposed to be the medium cold level but I would easily rate it at 8/10 on my personal menthol scale. There’s nothing like a good massage with the Prep, and a couple of splashes of the Alcolado Glacial to make you shiver some more. The Bleu de Chanel is my undisputed favorite fragrance - whoever smells on me tells me I smell great. Three passes slaughtered all that rough stubble and left me as smooth as silk!

    Be safe and healthy!

Now today’s shave was setup and ready to go but I received a mail call yesterday and in it was a very minty Feather Professional Artist Club SS Kamisori. Cleaned it and sanitized yesterday and decided to give it a go today! Loaded up with a Feather Pro Guard blade. Of course the iKon SBS was on stand by as was the local trauma team. I have never used such a razor...ever.

Soap of the day TFS Rasozero Spiffero which is a minty scent. Very nice and slick. Treated myself to the pre-shave cream also which is more of the same minty goodness!

Well with a face full of lather and a bit of trepidation I set about my “straight” journey. First pass with the grain, both sides of the face and that left the cheeks almost done! What?! One pass?! Come on! Put it down and checked to make sure. Holy smokes was that close! No nicks, no weepers, no blood! Now let’s not get cocky. Finished the underside of the chin and well let’s just stop here. Very nice! Well I continued on with the iKon SBS through passes two and three but there wasn’t a lot to do however, my neck wasn’t up to the Kamisori just yet. So BBS overall. I will continue to use my Kamisori out the gate until I get the technique down.

    Happy shaves all!

SOTD, Thur, May 07th 2020, Tried out a different ASR 1912(Everready) & they are very similar in appearance to the Gem 1912 but the angle set by the British is typical Everready is set 4 or 5 degrees different at least this model or was dropped accidentally. Gave a very similar shave to the Gem & maybe a little more aggressive? Handle looks like a chain link Gem 1912 but the Brits went one step further and raised the corners which creates a very nice grip IMO.(see picture below)
Ever Ready 1912 British made MFG 1936-53.jpg

Razor: Everready 1912 British variant- MFG 1936-53 for commonwealth nations world wide.(Marketing strategy)
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE (2)
Soap: Razorock Amici - nice mild scent of citris(grapefruit) with good lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi tuxedo knot 24 mm "Sagrada Familia" very easy brush to lather with.
Pre shave: brush wash my face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the beard area.
Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 3.
Post shave: Alum + cold water rinse after 30-60 seconds
Post shave: Razorock Amici with witch Hazel + a small dollop of Nivea men sensitive balm.
    Results : CCS,DFS,BBs + alum indicated minor irritation + 3 tiny chin weepers(operator error)= [IMG] great shave!
