While not a modern Gillette (Never having used carts) fan at all, I do really like just about any of the pre-1940s OC razors. I always liked my Old Types (I have 2), but always wished they were a bit heavier. Voila the ‘Big Fellow’. Three shaves in a row! I need to select another razor for tomorrow. This baby’s a keeper!

Thanks, Gary! It seems that the only Gillettes I really enjoy shaving with are the pre-1940s OC razors. I really like the weight of the Big Fellow, and it’s an awesome dome scraper!

Not a single copyright or trademark symbol on the Tabac Cologne bottle I have. But seeing as their longevity would be hard to dispute, they'd easily establish that criteria if they wanted to push the issue.

It's very similar to Stirling Haverford, albeit with an added dash of clove.

Nice turn around on the shave Jason. When I'm cranky....it's a 12-24 hour holding period... Love the warm image!

Very cool Joe! Good luck with it. Chris absolutely over packages for unboxing presentation, and the blade work is awesome. The kamisori with the red wrapping I use from time to time is one of his.
