Yes, I plan on following in Joe's @Trigger footsteps and shoot for 100 straight shaves right after. Gotta educate myself first, though. ;)

Well I am looking forward to seeing you use a straight razor. Just to set the recotd straight, I did not do 100 consecutive shavette shaves and then moved onto traditional straights for another consecutive 100. I have mentioned that at the 14th shavette shave I was confident and efficient enough to do a headshave with my Dovo shavette. I did pretty well at my first attempt of shavette headshaving that I ordered a Dovo Special straight razor. I figured if I could headshave with a shavette, then I could certainly shave my face with a straight. So, I would alternate between the straights and the Dovo shavette with the goal of reaching 100 shavette and 100 straight shaves to reach 200 open blade shaves. When I joined 30DC, I was just under 50 total open blade shaves with I believe 23 shavette and 26 straight shaves. At present, I am at 321 open blade shaves which breaks down to 165 straight and 156 shavette shaves. Tomorrow, I will have my Favorite Friday shave with my very first straight razor, the Dovo Special.

Looking forward to tomorrow's Dovo shave :D

Sorry in advance for a ‘one post all day’ catch up Shavette Fu special...
Stunning Razor, and welcome to the crew!
Get some sleep tonight, Gary! Phenomenal pic and shave, sir.
Wonderful blues, Jim. Some very nice software choices today. Such a unique razor handle as well.
Any day with SV soaps is a good day, any day with Manna Di Sicilia is a great day in my books, Clint. I was distracted today as well.
Love everything about that pic, Blair. Wifey fave is always a bonus...
Too bad the handles don’t match up, Joseph. Why they wouldn’t have a universal thread is perplexing. That vintage Williams lather looks magnificent.
What an amazing project, Evan. The Autostrop project is informative as well.
Some very unique gear, Joe. I’ve never heard of the splash before. Is it a new product?
The Big Fellow is such an iconic OT, Jeff. You have a fine collection of iconic vintages, both Gillette and others.
    Congrats, Jim!
I’m a huge fan of virtually every pre 40s Gillette OC as well, Jeff.
    Loud and Proud, my friend.
I have a tuck of those Thins, but the package looks a little different. I’ll pull them out in a few days.
I have water in my ceiling. Fun times. House is 114 years old though, so these projects are a constant.
    + Nacet, PermaSharp, Polsilver, Greens...
Wonder what blade is with them. Indian razor with Indian Gillette blades maybe?
If you’re Dr. Frankenstein, does that make me the monster?
A Canadian kamisori is also known as a Husqvarna.
Just stay semi-sober when you weld it, please...
Awesome job again, Patrick! Love the Gentleman too. Sigh.
    That is just awesome, Myles.
Love the scales on that razor, Keith. You are bang on about the Omega Pros, too.
