May 2020 30 Day Rule/Focus Pix & Discussion

Thanks, Jeff but that's an older picture I dug up to compare blade packaging.

 

My thinking was that a thread for 30DC cyber-meets could isolate and focus things for interested parties.

Times, schedules, how-to's, and other logistics could be worked on.

If it is meant to be, it'll work.

I've got some change up's happening at work so weekdays would be difficult for me.

I think it would be fun to try.

 

The big full hollow razor parade continues.

Wednesday shave: Wacker 7/8 full hollow, the Rooney brush worked over the Fine Soap and the Wacker brought the always comforting smooth edge and velcro sound. The shave was excellent.



Thursday shave: This is one of my favorite razors, a 7/8 full hollow Dorko with butterscotch scales. Everything is spot on with this razor, shoulderless design, perfect geometry, she sits flat on the stones, takes and keep a fantastic edge. Fine Soap again and this razor is loud, so far the loudest in the big size full hollow parade. The shave was epic.

Wonderful pics and awesome report, Jeff! While I knew the Shake Sharp was a preferred shaver for you, I still didn't know much about it--good to get bit of the history and a closer look at the razor

Shave number 12, still going strong. Another DFS. Took the day off from the homemade straight razor. Needed to run a few errands. I did get a lecture fron my 8 year old about wearing my mask when out. I explained that it's okay not to wear my mask when I'm driving. She tattled on me when we got home.

 

Actually, as I now recall, I did add some soap and for that reason. Can we call it a "half a load"?

 

Do all Mike's Naturals have Kokum butter?
