Still liking this razor and blade choice. Excellent lather thanks to XPEC and the Yaqi Timberwolf Brush. I'm smooth and smell great for bed. Happy shaves all.

Thank you Gary. Going for week 6 with my straight. I miss using my other razors, but I'm having too much fun and my shaves are quite good. I am so glad I decided to stay dedicated to improving my skills. Stay safe buddy and enjoy those shaves.

I had forgotten that it took sooo long to get that Safari set put together. I spent more months acquiring the pieces from ebay slowly. It was in early 2018 that you knotted the Safari shave brush. Man seemed like longer ago somehow.

I would like a law that would fine meteorologists who make enormous mistakes!
Yesterday I received a weather alert for thunderstorms and today, in fact, there is sun as in May, warm and a pleasant breeze: the Nirvana for any heliophile!

I wanted to try Castle Forbes again and I can confirm my previous impressions: the cream has an excellent texture, the scent is good even if delicate.

Didn't like Rapira Platinum, even though it shaved beautifully: it's the feeling on the skin that didn't satisfy me.
I have to do something about all those blades I host in my house: they don't even pay rent!

This is my first shave with the Gebr. Becker 5/8, a gift from @DaltonGang .

The Mitchell's Wool Fat Shave Soap face-lathered well with my Tom's B-400 Two-band Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gebr. Becker 5/8 gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Aqua Velva Musk AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I wish the Klar Kabinett hadn’t been discontinued because it was so good. I still have a big block of it which a friend of mine in Germany sent me a long time ago. I was told that the Dusy soap is slightly different but it’s also very good!
