I don't read B&B. Nothing personal or negative; I'm content with TSD.

So what did Dr. Mike's joke say?

well, hold your horses, I was busy tryin' to dig it up...:D

    okay, it was in the college football thread, and the three most recent posts had been me, a Baptist and Alabama fan, Dr. Mike, a Mormon and BYU fan, and .... can't remember now, but a Notre Dame fan;
    then I made the comment:
    ...not expecting anything else, then:

    I laughed til I couldn't breathe

EEK! I had a problem with a number being set to autodial. The 911 operator called to let me know that my son had my phone. Hope you can get it figured out!
I watched that Lather Catcher, but didn't end up bidding because I have to round up some cash. Went much cheaper than I expected. Congratulations!

That is awesome. I think that thing is just amazing. So simple, but so perfect. I have seen the guy who designed it in a couple forums. I think it is awesome that he is personally getting out there and talking to his fans/users/addicts. I am asking for another for Christmas this year so that I can enjoy it at home on the weekends. I don't bother taking it home anymore because I can't make it through a Monday morning when I forget to bring it back to work. ;)

my handwriting is terrible, but it's amazing how much improved it has been playing with this fountain pen...I guess it's like shaving with a DE/SE/Straight - it's not mindless activity like a cartridge, so you have to pay more attention and maintain focus.
    wow

I have noticed that myself. I also noticed that I write FAR more than I ever did before. I find myself making lists and writing notes just because I now enjoy writing.

Odd, a fountain pen was one of the elements of a dream I had earlier.
I remember shaking it a bit and leaving ink spots on something.
I don't know why I did that, it just seemed like a good idea at the time.

'Twas the morning of Tuesday, and all through my home
not a soul was stirring, so I started this poem.
Some mysterious forces, some unseen poltergeist
prompted me to shave with a Mach3 last night!
A fit full night of sleep, tossing and turning in pain,
because for some unknown reason, I started against the grain.
Many bloody tissues, a whole alum block
Two bottles of 'Da Velva, but the pain will not stop.
So here I am, before you fellas, declaring truthfully
that I will never again wander, from the joys of the ole' DE!

Good morning everyone! Great shave with <GASP> Williams. No problems today. I thought I would try Zach's method with the Williams and got great lather, great shave, and no chemical burn. Maybe I should try putting Arko and some of my burning shave sticks in a bowl and see what happens with this method.

I had them deactivate the almost useless ENV2 (won't work on any of the sites I want to use, so it is a waste to pay for the mobile web) and reactivated my old Razor. On my first call on the razor, I realized how much I really hated the ENV2. The Razor was comfortable to use, and I could easily hear the other side of the conversation. The downgrade was one of the best decisions that I have made in a long time.

    Thanks

:happy088 It is on my Christmas wishlist already for the same reason. I wish I let Jim and company convince me of this one sooner.

    Yup

It is better when using a caligraphy nib like the Plumix. When I switch back to a regular nib, my handwriting goes back closer to its old self. I have three FP in the mail, but I have a feeling that the Sheaffer caligraphy pen (you can get a fine tip at Michaels for about the same cost of the Plumix) may remain my favorite.

No kidding! I have a notebook at my desk that I just write to write in... and I am making lists for shopping, to do lists, etc... I never do that

Well I suppose... I wouldn't have to worry about forgetting anything at the store...

    Brilliant! :happy096 :happy088 :happy096
