After yesterday's shave, today I wanted something that would guarantee me a trauma-free experience: hence a mild razor, a sliding soap and a razor blade that
wouldn't hide any surprise from me.

And I was satisfied.

Yaqi Barber Pole in best badger, Q shave scuttle.
Merkur 1904 open comb, Derby Premium blade.
Dickinson’s witchazel, Clubman Lime Sec, Clubman talc.
Felt soft, dry, and comfortable all day. Welcome to the club, man.

NOS Simplex (1942-44 WW-II European Theater) w/Spoiler and Stirling Mountain Man soap and AS

I lucked upon this razor and picked it up cause I'm a vintage nut case plus I liked the box color scheme. I really didn't expect much but after only two shaves this amazing shaver has replaced my 54 Super Speed as my desert island razor. After the first shave I thought it was a fluke but not so. There is a new sheriff in town. This nimble ugly ducking is so smooth and efficient that is has given me two effortless BBS shaves. You can't make this s*** up! No other razor is my 50+ collection gets those problem area's around my chin, adam's apple, and that pesky swirly area on my left jaw with so little effort. I can't explain it but don't care. Life is good......

Another fantastic Grand Freeze from the Kameelperd soap - it felt just as frigid as the Glacial Lemon Chill that I used yesterday. I had that beautiful coffee/peppermint scent along with two boatloads of rich, thick, slick, icy cold lather and such a soothing, comfortable postshave feeling. The Prep, together with the Osage Rub finalized the deal. Three passes resulted in a perfect BBS shave which I enjoyed immensely!
