Thank you Gary...good morning to you. As I've said, my TSE soap will be the first of my current ones to finish.
May-hem 2020 Santa Maria Novella~~Simpson Duke 3~~1947 Gillette Super-Speed/Wilkinson~~SMN Nostalgia This shave would mos def© not qualify for a Mayhem shave. What it did qualify for was a fantastic-in-every-way shave. (I have decided not to copyright that phrase, as there are too many similar phrases out there. Feel free to use it at your leisure) The SMN Crema da Barba was a luxury purchase, I must admit. However, this tub is filled to the brim with 7oz of lather-making loveliness. The only drawback, and this is admittedly a picayune complaint, is that it is difficult to load. I know...how can that be, you query? Too soft to load directly from the tub (I guess you could and I might just attempt that next time) and when I smear a dollop into my lathering bowl, it is so sticky, that the brush has a difficult time moving it from the bottom of the bowl to the bristles. Other than that, this stuff rocks, and I have zero regrets on this purchase. The lather was ultra-gorgeous, but the photo I took was so out of focus, I had to trash it. Take Primo's word, SMN is one magnificent shave cream. Also on the opposite side of the Mayhem spectrum was my razor, the '47 Super-Speed. I was in the mood for a easy-peasy shave, without having to think too much. (Not thinking comes naturally to Primo) The SS loaded with a Wilkinson Light Brigade delivered...in spades. Baby is in the house and after a ho-hum splash of Dickinson's Witch Hazel, I indulged my olfactory senses with 4-5 healthy spritzes of SMN Nostalgia. Check out the scent profile of this juice. Intoxicating.
Luxurious shave, Joseph--probably the best component is... everything! The scent profile for Nostalgia does, indeed, sound intoxicating
