    Hidy ho, everybody!

Maybe today shall be a good day. The weather is supposed to be ideal (not that it really matters when you are stuck indoors all day) and things have smoothed out at work a little. Now, if only I can get a certain Doc to approve my coursework in the Spring, I'll be set.

My son is doing well... heck, the whole family is. Should be a very busy month. Every weekend is filled to the brim with something.

Oh, well. Have a great day!

    Morning!

I'm pleasantly surprised at how good leftover quiche is. It's like spaghetti, better the next day. It also microwaves well.

I will definitely be making more quiche in the future. It's really easy, and good. Jenna loves quiche, too.

    Good morning, folks.

What a marvelous way to start off the morning. Already smiling.

Picked up some Claritin yesterday in the pharmacy. Unrelated, but I also bought a yoyo at another shop last night to give myself a present cause I felt so awful. Claritin combined with the tired = me out cold by 11:30 last night. Awesometasticness. Hope it continues to work.

What are the pens you have in the mail, Justin?

Yo-Yo... hmmmmm I may have to get my yo-yo's out and practice and relearn all those things that I have forgotten.

I have asome Greune Cactus ink coming, a cheap Hero 329 or 330 (I forget) and a Haolalai 601F coming from Isellpens, and a $3 with shipping eBay Janghoi X750 (I am not looking up spellings for those brands at the moment).

I stood in the store I bought it in and played with it (glow in the dark Yomega Raider) for a little while. :D I still have one of my old yo-yos: a Yomega Hyperwarp. That was an awesome yo-yo. They don't make them anymore, though they've kept using the name on some butterfly shaped yo-yos. What yo-yos do you have?

Have you tried out the Gruene Cactus ink? My absolute favorite ink is Noodler's American Eel Gruene Cactus, so you'll be in good hands. If you want to sample any other inks, let me know. I've got quite a few.

Sounds like you've got a nice selection of pens coming in. Let us know what you think when you do get them.

Morning, Fuzzy. I'm doing great today. Mounds better than yesterday.

Hope the visit to the doctor goes well.

Forgot to respond to this earlier, but quiche is delicious. Send me some, please, JoAnna. :D

    The best I could find:

There were one or two of folks being downright mean to Jehova's Witnesses and arguing with Mormons but I thought they were just mean spirited and inappropriate. Besides, it doesn't help the Christian message when we bash people whose beliefs are different than our own.

What kind of yo-yo? Wooden, plastic, bearing mounted axle, spring-loaded axle? Details man! Details! That reminds me, I haven't been to yoyonation.com in a loooong time...

Yeah... I have a hyperwarp or two... I am trying to recall what all I have... I know I have a Grim Sleeper (which I think is adjustable bearings), some off brand with embedded sharks teeth that sleeps well, some Duncans, some others... I will have to look when I get home. Honestly, I probably can't even walk the dog anymore let alone shoot the moon or anything else. Maybe I could rock the baby still... I wonder if I have a yo-yo here at work... its not like I don't already juggle during class on odd days.. But I don't really like the idea of hitting a kid with a yo-yo.. But there was that one movie where it was used... The Substitute

In regards to ink, I figured that the Gruene Cactus would stand out enough that I could use it for grading as well as normal writing and then eventually pick up some Antietam or other reds and some other colors. I think a good green and a good red should do me for quite a while.

oh boy, ya'll've done it now, gotten Micah talking yo-yos again...hmmm, what's this in the side pocket of my backpack?
    ah! a yo-yo!

I fixed up a rig for carrying my yoyo... I need to start bringing it to work with me again...

It's a really simple rig... you just take a carabiner clip and attach a ponytail holder to it. The yo-yo just pops in with the band nuzzling in the gap between halves. It's really an elegant solution, plus it lets you show off your yo.

My all time favorite yo-yo is the only one I kept around: the Hyperwarp. I called up Yomega yesterday and asked if they might have some left lying around their warehouse, but to no avail. I used to have a collection of dozens of yo-yos. Anything from fixed axle plastic Duncans to wooden, to transaxles, to ball bearing Yomegas, to tiny mini yo-yos on keychains. Do you have a favorite yo-yo?

Oooh. The black and gold Hyperwarp?

I remember clocking myself in the head way too much with yo-yos. That may explain things. I've also had a few incidents where the string burst during a trick. That's never fun.

Gruene Cactus is great. How did you like the Widowmaker I sent? By the way - I also have Antietam, so if you'd like to try before you buy, let me know.

I like yo-yos. And puMpkin. Mmm. Pumpkin. Did the package show up yet, Jim?

Also, what yo-yo did you find?

The last yoyo I acquired was one of these, in black. But that's been over two years ago! I got it and 100 dayglow green nylon strings... I really need to pick that thing back up.

    mmMm, puMpkin...:drool

nope, no package yet, hopefully today

the yo-yo is just a Duncan Proyo...playing with our yo-yos is why Micah and I got fired from our previous place of employment (not really, we weren't fired, we found better places, but it sounds funnier than the truth :D)(and, we were warned about our having our yo-yos out at work...)

That's like asking "Do you have a favorite finger?" I love them all, but I am rather fond of my BC yoyos. I've got a Rainbow [IMG] and another like it but with alternating aqua and natural wood strips--that thing is beautiful. I've also got and quite enjoy my Apollo Butterfly, but when I'm feeling the need for a wooden axle, no tech, the one I really enjoy is the BC phantom in white with blue trim... that thing is just awesome. If I get really nostalgic, I might break out one of my Smother's Brothers hummingbird yos.

Here's one for you Jim. [IMG]
