I love the stick, but I haven't tried the Lea cream yet. I do have the menthol version Lea cream on order from Connaught though. Hopefully the Royal Mail won't take too long to send it across the Atlantic!

What's the soap appearance in the half-pounder....to me in looks like 3x-milled...pretty flat. Am I right?

yes sir.smooth,opaque in substance/color.could be a cold or hot pour..like a triple mill,not bumpy on top like a stirling or other.
