    What a terrific shave Blair. Beautiful scales on the DD. Quality craftsmanship which I know first hand as I have two.

    cheers Patrick..:)..i did a short stint as a roofer in my 20s,wasn't good ..when i head shaved i used a mach 3.worked ok.i did this hair cut with a beard trimmer.does that count for mayhem?:D

    You are not alone Jeff! I also don't have PAA soaps. Quite frankly, I am quite content with Stirling as my primary brand.

    Lovely shave, Jim! Beautiful photo! I always thought the handle on the Carbon looked a bit odd, but I guess it’s quite practical!

    I have more Stoylins than any other soaps, but Central Texas Soaps is a close second.

    Great Schick Injector shave, Gary! I have the same razor! They’re much better shavers than that danged F Type as you observed! I'm telling myself that the problem was those cheap Chinese Schick blades. I'm going to try a Schick B-20 Proline Injector blade. Maybe that’ll make a difference.

    could have just been a bad blade,or you loaded it from empty and the edge rubbed on the stop.done that.i used the cheap chick this morning.damn fine shave to be honest..very smooth and efficient.

    Ive gotten a dud blade before awhile back. Tore me up like kleenex at a snot festival.

    @Linuxguile Andrew sent me some personna blades but haven't tried them yet.when i first loaded my E type it was empty and the blade rubbed.the blade i used today was far better.but i don't use the schick enough to be giving advise..:)
