Never really struck me before what nice looking razor that GC is--definitely does not detract from the beautiful Aquamarine theme you've got going on ;)

Fantastic set up, shave and photo, Jim! :D

Thanks for the "explanate" Jim.(Oh man, I hope "explanate" won't become the new "explanation"-like "invite" being the new "invitation"..). I make fun of these "new" words. But to be serious, that's good to know about PAA. I like their "scent chart", too. But you're right....the issue is "how is it selling"?

    Razor: Frederick Reynolds 5/8”
Brush: PAA The Green Ray 24 mm
    Lather: PAA Old Salty
    Aftershave: PAA Old Salty
    Additional Care:
    Barbero Alum Block
Thayer's Witch Hazel - Aloe Vera
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

Happy Friday Gentlemen! I decided to go with an aquatic scent for the beginning of this Memorial Day Weekend. Although given this lockdown, many of us are going have a very different holiday weekend than what we have been accustomed to.

Another wonderful three pass shave. Currently, I am smelling good while sitting in a six hour Zoom meeting. :scared011::scared011:
The Fredrick Reynolds is a nice razor. It is easily maneuverable given it’s 5/8” blade.
The lather of the soap is extremely slick providing a surface to allow the blade to glide comfortably across the shave area for all three passes.

Finished up with the usual three components to leave the face hydrated and supple feeling. The missus loves the feel and the scent.

Great shave, Paul! That Glacial Lime sounds fantastic :D

I don't know just what the cut on your cheek is like, but when I get set down cuts I've noticed that shaving over the area of the cut in the opposite direction for the next few days keeps that little flap of skin from coming up and usually gives the cut time to settle down and heal.

Thanks for that Tim...I'll see if I can remember that for tomorrow. I usually do South-North over that area, therefore I will try North-South tomorrow, just over that section.

Awesome GEM shave, Jeff! My experience with GEMS was nothing short of wonderful (had a rough start with the MMOC, but a 2 week focus took care of that nonsense).

That Gem Jr is absolutely gorgeous! Was it re-plated, or did you find one that happened to be in mint condition?
