I’m truly in awe of your modern artisan razor collection. Your choice of B&W photography works beautifully with your selected kit this morning. I still have RAD quivers when I remember that beautiful copper LVL2 razor and brush photo of a few months ago. You almost moved me to pull the trigger, but most of my interest is turning towards SEs, thank God. I really enjoy your posts.

Thank you very much, Jeff! I do have a severe case of RAD along with SAD and BAD. I'm enjoying all the excesses this hobby has to offer. I feel like I'm making up for lost time.

Well, a most enjoyable shave this morning. My early concern was is the brush too big for the 3.5 oz. puck. I got pleasantly fooled when seeing that it fit in very nicely. 0:30 to load the Razorocks Lime Burst onto the Stoylin "Pro-Handle" brush. This time I got just the right amount of "extra water" onto the soap, shaking it from the brush. Here again I was pleasantly fooled, as there have been times in the past where I would put in either too much or not enough. 2 healthy passes-no cuts/weepers. Y-formation on the neck was better than that of yesterday. Stoylin Glacial Lime A.S. to finish it. That Stoylin is ONE with any lime soap, in my case the Lime Burst. Top Of The World Excellent- the streak continues!

AoS Tallow Sandalwood~~CH2 Synthetic~~Feather AS-D2/Feather~~Polo
Once again, I have eschewed a "Mayhem" shave, in favor of an admittedly safe and smooth shave.
So, sue me.
After the completion of a tub of tallow Williams, I was and am still "jonesing" for vintage soaps.
Now, one could argue that most people use the word "vintage" incorrectly.
In our hobby, it has come to mean "something no longer produced".
Well, that's unfortunately the case with today's soap. Manufactured by the Italian Soap Co. Valobra,
Art of Shaving soaps were top-tier and some might say, over-priced.
Now we have no problems dishing out $35 for a puck of Czech & Speake, which many of you know
is also made by Valobra.
Be that as it may, the AoS soaps (pre-reformulation) are coveted and well-worth a purchase.
The sandalwood scent is lovely, although I don't really consider it a true Indian sandalwood.
These soaps really produce an incredible lather.

"Velvety" is the best adjective that comes to mind. The CH2 laid down a blanket of richness
rarely experienced by human shavers.
Popped a new Feather blade into the razor, bearing the same moniker and started the shave.
Since Keith never went to the trouble to copyright this term, I am using it: Epic.
Next time Keith, protect your intellectual property.
