Great setup and photo, Gary! I haven't tried either the soap or splash, however they seem like they would complement each other well!

    Barbershop week continues
    Soap: Ghost Town Barber
    Aftershave: Clubman
    Brush: JR 191
    Razor: Oneblade
First shave with the OneBlade and it was quite nice. The head pivots so it's pretty tough to lose your angle. Only complaint is that it's too easy in a way. IMG_20200526_191814851.jpg

Here it is for "Throwback Thursday"

    prep-Stoylin Bodywash(Sharp Dressed Man)in shower
    shave-Gillette Foamy Menthol(can)*
razor-Gillette Sensor Deuce Pivot + DisposeABLE
    A.S.-Clubman Reserve Gent's Gin**

**-Wellll, the creation of these " Reserve" scents happened just a few years ago, but it couldn't have happened with Pinaud's creation of Clubman in 1830.

Thank you, Andrew. :) Of all the beehives I have owned, this shape is the most original.

Without a doubt the PAL Injecto-Matic provides one of the absolute closest shaves you can get. Although I rated the Schick H aka Hussy slightly better overall in a shave off some years ago. I’ll be rubbing my face for hours :happy036:

    Hot water preparation
    Argan Oil PSO
    Savile Row 3824
    Castle Forbes Lavender Shaving Cream
    PAL Injecto-Matic
    Schick (9)
    Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel

Thanks. Not an attention grabber or one that shouts "look at me". This is refined, sophisticated and classy gentleman type of fragrance. Low on projection & sillage but, has tenacity and stays on the skin all day.

    Tuesday Shave: (May 26, 2020)

    Brush: Dogwood B4
Razor: Gillette English Flat Bottom Tech
    Blade: Gillette Platinum (6)
Lather: Summer Break Soaps Prom King
Post Shave: Summer Break Soaps Prom King
    Frag: None

Excellent, excellent shave. A couple days with the same soap base really helps figure them out better. I lathered up a wetter than usual brush, maybe a little on the heavier side than normal and the lather just formed wonderfully. The slickness is up there with one of the best for me. My skin feels very smooth - this base just works so well for me.

This soap scent is based on Le Male by JPG. Scent wise, the soap smells very much like the dry down of the AS. I get quite a bit of vanilla for the most part off the tub. For the AS, the same can be said but the brighter notes also stand out a little bit better than the soap. I don't mind the scent - I shaved before going out in 30C weather and it worked fine. The little whiffs I got of citrus/mint were complementary for the weather.

So I'm happy with this set. The scent is not my favourite but the artwork here drew me in to get a set. It's excellent work, a safe scent and the base by Summer Break soaps is absolutely incredible.
