  2. Now why would you say such a thing?

    Fuzzy
  3. Somebody say sumpin?
  4. Morning there Bill.. how the you? I am soon off to nap land here
  5. Tired, wanting to go home. No sleep for me for 4 more hours at least.
  6. Pretty close to that for me too.
Another 1.5 hours working, and then I'm driving back into town and meeting my girlfriend for breakfast.
Poor thing has to put in some hours at work today herself.
  7. Morning.
  8. but what's the answer? it's really simple - it has to be for me to know
    Atlanta, Linden-Kildare
    puMpkin?
  9. Thinking about finishing my Dads brush, finally.
  10. Morniung everyone... slept in a bit and now am running behind schedule... but meh... its the Weekend.

That's funny... my wife says the same thing.

Nope... nobody said nuthing... except for that pumpkin over there

Cool, so where are you in the project?

Well... off to go take the Wahl to my head, shower, shave, etc... and take the daughter out for the day to let my wife get her papers written. Toy Story 1 and 2 in Digital 3D, lunch at Ci-Ci's Pizza, maybe an antique store or two....
  11. Any of you guys actually use the old Gem and Everready razors? I have a few that have been in the cabinet forever. I got a little confused at first with two of them. There are two 1912's, but one is a Gem and the other is an Ever-ready. They both have the fancy handles. One of the other Gems is the funny looking job with the big black plastic handle.
  12. A lot of us use those. I will be using an older model Ever-Ready in a little bit, but those old Gem's and Ever-Ready single edge razors do a great job. Fuzzy, Dave, and a few others are really into them and can give a lot more information than I can. But those old Gem 1912 and 1924 Ever ready razors are great.
  13. Don't forget the 1914's, they shave great too.

Some helpful info can be found here, then click on the previous page and work your way backwards. It helps explain why they all look similar.
  14. Well, in that case, I will give you guys first dibs on them.

I even found one of those Micromatics still in the box. Has the paper insert inside it still.

You guys let me know if you are interested in any of these.
  15. Thanks for the offer, but I'm good on those types for now. A lather catcher was all I was wanting, and mine showed up yesterday. Maybe Fuzzy would be interested in the MM in a box, I think he has been trying to pick up some boxed razor.
  16. Been getting distracted this morning and still here...

Well, I didn't forget about the 1914. I just don't have one to give my own opinion. I don't know how that worked out.

:happy088 You have any of those 1914's Bill just mentioned?

OK... I am sitting here with a freshly buzzed head and need to go shower off the bits and pieces of hair. Then to shave with a Ever Ready lather catcher.
  17. Justin, you are always welcome to use my 1914 if you like.
  18. I know where there was a 1914 sitting in a store a few months ago, but the store owner was trying to push things I didn't want, so I walked out. I bet it is still there waiting.... ;)
  19. If it don't work out, the offer will always be there. Pics of my LC are up over in The Haul section.

Everyone have a great day, I'm off to bed. :sleep001
  20. Prepare yourselves for:

    RAZOR PORN!!!!

Oh yeah, the only other one I have is a 1924
