    Hey Jeff!
Still around just busy as all get out.
Been using my Focus shavette with a new half Feather blade each time for the face about 5 weeks every day now. Seems I'm getting better and better shaves as I go. When time allows, I shave the head with it. I really like using the focus, gives a great shave now that I can use it. Never a nick, cut, or burn. The only time I had a small issue my blood thinners were to strong. Still only had light scrapes on bumps. Not sure I'll use anything else to shave the face with for a while.
When not using the focus on the gord I use my Open Comb Micomatic with a new Personna GEM blade each time.
Will check in from time to time.

I even used this combo when on the road. Different scents of Stirling, but you all get the drift.

I hope everyone is doing fine and all is well!
    Take care all!

I'm not really a gambling man, but the end result is worth it--beautiful brush/bowl combo! The Fine Italian Citrus sounds wonderful.

Wonderful set up, Matthew! The Credence sounds wonderful; folks should never judge a soaps scent based on the way it smells off the puck--some of my favorites were ones that I wanted to bin after first smelling them off the puck :D

Sorry for my lack of presence. Not only sis work have a string of outages that required my special expertise but the long anticipated reorg is going through this week. Thus, my mind has been on other things. Apparently I am one of the people a couple directors are fighting over. Not sure if its because they want me or don't want me.

It's all good. I would rather be busy than bored and I haven't been bored.

As for my VAS experiment goes, the blade is still going strong after 22 shaves. I wish I hadn't refreshed it. I did notice the blade doesn't rub on the strop on the return stroke unless I tilt the handle slightly. So early on I likely wasn't stropping properly.

At this point I am still getting 2 pass DFS shaves. Honestly I feel great. I purchased a second gen 3 VAS to plate in nickel and use much more often. Also looking for some more leather to make a few more strops. I could see myself shaving with a VAS several times a month at least.

Beautiful photo, Jim--that Klenzo brush looks amazing. Don't know how is flew under the radar (considering how many PAA offerings I've seen posted here), but the bottle design for the PAA AS is really cool! :D
