I have been shaving with one of those baton handle 1912's some last week. all those are great razors.. I might be interested in that there boxed MM. I have several already.. all in different box's.. I'll fire ya offen a PM about it.


After noon folks... worked last night off tonight and just getting moving around here. How the Y'all?

So I stopped by that antique/collectible store. The pushy owner wasn't there. However, there weren't price tags on things anymore. They were looking things up on eBay and using eBay prices. So that 1914 that was $10 a few months ago was $30 today because a mint condition one in a complete set sold for $30 on eBay in the last week. That wouldn't concede that the price was not accurate for this 1914, but no budge, so no buying. Oh well.

 

That stinks, tripled in price, geez. Offer still stands whenever you want use the 1914, just send a PM.

 

I may take you up on that someday. However, in no rush... In respects to the antique store, I should have walked out as soon as I saw the big computer screen with eBay running. Oh Well... Maybe If I wait and see one going for $.99 I should run back to that store. I bet they don't try to use the eBay price in that case! :happy102

 

No problem, when S/E week rolls around again you can try it then if you like.

Would love to see the look on their face when you show them a $.99 one!

Evening, all... I'm just getting up and deciding what I want to do this evening.

Thirdly ..... I'm really elfin' pissed now. had the plumbing issues last week, had to wait two days before they were finally able to come and fix it. the fix was very short lived. we weren't home that thursday evening after they fixed it, but we were on friday eve., the day after. it's also the eve before the weekend, so naturally when the plumbing showed itself not fixed friday eve, we had to wait til monday. grrrrrrrr....
so, monday comes, they come out and fix it - no charge, of course.
everything was fine til today - I had to work a funeral today, in my new added position of auditorium manager at the school - right after it's over get the test from my wife - backed up again

Very tempting Fuzzy... I think I may just holler your way.

I never shared the fun experience upon leaving the theater today. We got out of the double feature, I refill my drink and daughter is happy and all is well. I open the car with the remote, get inside and go to start it... no key. Everything is on my keyring except my car key. Daughter is now starting meltdown and full panic mode. I start to look around and check my pockets. Daughter is getting hysterical. I am trying to keep her calm while I look in the parking lot as I walk back into the theater. And then I see it, sticking out from under a tire of a parked car. Daughter starts getting more upset. I am not sure about her logic sometimes. Usually she is very bright and a great problem solver. However, when she gets in those moods, logic is out the window. So somehow, possibly having to wait an hour or so for someone to move their car is much worse than losing the key forever and being trapped at the theater forever. I dunno.. it was her logic, not mine. I nudged the key with my foot, and it budged. Excellent, there was very little pressure on the key and I was able to work it out and start my car and drive off without further incident. But daughter has been on the edge of another meltdown all night.

 

Just let me know Justin I can get it out next week sometime.

Sorry to hear the daughter had problems. Glad you got it all worked out. i am paranoid I guess.. I actually keep a spare key in my truck in case I lose my keys. all I got to go is get in and I am ok.

 

Well its one of those newer keys with a chip. I don't have a spare key. I have a key and my wife has a key. I miss being able to go to a hardware store and make a key. I actually miss working in a hardware store making keys.
