Thank you Jason. This rock garden is right off the patio under an ornamental tree. I decided to break out the Omega Evo, Not quite as aggressive as the Soap Destroyer but it should get the job done.

Several years back, I tried the Soap a Week thing. That lasted about 4 or 5 weeks. On the upside you can see the soap disappearing.

Yes, Jason! It’s been made since 2002. They’re an odd outfit. They do no formal marketing, everything is strictly word of mouth! It’s great stuff!

Not really. Maybe 5 years. Never really had a problem until this razor. Had a Rockwell 6s for a year or two then started trying other stuff. Maybe 4 years with a DE all in But everything you said is true. As its always the same couple of spots. I'll try a really wet lather that's sat on for awhile, good idea.

Long gone, my friend. Indeed, that was the THIRD "infused" MWF puck I have completed in my wet-shaving journey.

    May 29 Favorite Friday Shave

    Good evening gent's

    Shavette Shave #163
    Dovo Shavette
    Rockwell 1/2 DE Blade (3)
    JR #386 Silvertip Brush
    Stirling Glastonbury SS and AS

Ok, I picked 2 of my favorites; they are the JR badger brush and the Dovo Shavette. At the beginning of my open blade journey, the Dovo Shavette really helped me master the angles to shave my face efficiently and gave me the confidence of being a straight razor shaver. What can I say about this brush that I haven't said already? It's my ultimate favorite because it is soft and really makes a great lather.
Ok enough of this babble! Lol!

The Stirling Glastonbury has a very pleasant scent off the puck and while it's on my face. Stirling soaps always produces a nice lather so I don't need to sell it to most of you guys. On a 32 hr stubble, I did a 2.5 pass with very minor touchup to produce a very good near BBS. I could say it was a BBS that will pass the cottonball test on my cheeks and some areas of my neck. I am fine with it because visually it is a BBS. Didn't get any boo-boos or irritation which is a plus. It also helped that I decided not to do a Fool's Pass, but hit the stache 2x going with the grain and partially across the grain.
Finished with the pleasant frag of the matching aftershave. I smell great and it was a nice, close comfortable shave. Tomorrow will be a no shave day so my last shave for the month will be Sunday! I want to end the month with a bang so I have an idea what soap will serve that purpose. In the meantime, have a nice evening guys! 20200529_181751.jpg 20200529_181751.jpg

Yes , I remember how we both didn't care for it. I didn't like it because the scent didn't last, but now the dissipation time is longer. Would I purchase it again? I am not sure. It's not an in-your-face scent like Bay Rum, but it has its place.
