    This.
I found back around the time of Genesis that I'm only satisfied with BBS results. I also found that with the right technique, equipment and three passes I get it every time, no chasing. Slants , again I found, aren't necessary equipment to get there. It takes three passes no matter what so why bother?

I'll add in some pictures at some point. I've been shaving exclusively with the Valencia slant for the last week. It's given me smooth shaves with blades on their 6th and 7th shaves (Astra SP), even with a fresh feather blade.

The twist seems to give me a better viewing angle when I'm edging my beard. When I use a regular razor, the handle obscures the corner of the razor head when I shave my left side, unless I turn my head. That does not seem to be necessary with this slant.

I wanted to not like this razor. Instead, it's easily moved into the top spot in my top 5 razors, which is a shame, because it's a rare razor and it's going to cost me a bundle to restore it.

    1) Valencia fat handle slant
    2) Cooper MonoBilt
    3) Shake Sharp V2
    4) 1936 Brit Aristocrat
    5) Blackland Blackbird

Have the same head, the Razorock. I use it mostly as a 1 pass work shave razor.
I find the slant gets closer on 1 pass than other razors. Although, I used it today for a 3+ pass shave(BBS).
A Feather blade would be perfect with it for a work (1 pass) shave. But an open comb slant.....hmmmmm.

Just received my WCS 110 Graham handle. Put it on my Razorock 37 slant head, perfect pairing.
The added weight of the Heavy Duty handle puts a little pressure on the face, combined with the slant itself
provides about as close of a one pass shave as it gets. Now, I do think a ‘sharper’ blade (read:Feather) is the
best combo. Since I’m only doing one pass, the sharper blade shows itself, plus, I’m not putting that much
‘stress’ on my skin. Highly recommend.
