  13. Featherweight mk2, gem stainless ptfe blade, shave 6
    [IMG]

The mk2 differs from the mk1 as seen in the pictures below.
    [IMG] [IMG]
Featherweight mk2 is the razor on the right in the first picture and razor in the middle in the second.

Had another go on this also to confirm my initial impressions. Both shaves the blade had more feel than the mk1 and alum block had more feedback than the mk1 yet again so this one though mild still is less mild than the mk1. I shaved it with reckless abandon with no weepers and end result was still the same as the previous shave. More pressure didn't improve the closeness like the mk1 did. What did change was when shaving both with reckless abandon the closeness of the shaves is about the same. The mk2 is still closer but the mk1 is not far behind.

My little pat. 1912, with first sue CVS blade. I only get 3 or 4 shaves each out of these blades, but they are smooth and clean before almost instantly turning into tuggers lol. Still, I do like them.
This razor has seen very little use in its lifetime...super clean, and I love the "weighty" feel.
The Rose of Bulgaria cream produces a wonderfully silky feeling lather, and the scent is wonderful. I had to stay in the rose lineup with the post shave products.

  19. Ever Ready natural angle, gem stainless ptfe blade, shave 1.

As can be seen from the pictures below this particular natural angle razor which in design is similar but not the same as the Gem Featherweight. In this case I used the Featherweight mk2 to compare visually.
    eg1.jpg eg2.jpg eg3.jpg eg4.jpg

Ever Ready is on the left in all pictures.

Shave is milder than either mk1 or mk2 Gem Featherweight and also not as close as either. With that said as long as you are not chasing the baby these razors are some of the best mild shavers I've used. If you are chasing the baby then the Gem Micromatic Clog Pruf mk2 also referred to as a Peerless produced 1945 - 1946 is the best of mild for these SE style razors that take Gem blades.
