Yeah, something about Geranium and Citrus that works. Smells refreshing to me.

The Merry Mixed Up Month of May!

    May 31

    Razor - The Wunderbar
    Blade - [IMG]
    Soap - Mitchell's Wool Fat
Brush - 30DC Meet Up LE w/ TGN Grade A Silvertip
    Post - Alum

One more time and we'll be done with May. Wow. Doesn't seem possible. Seems like I just posted my first one for the month but here we are, last day and ready for June! By the way, you may have noticed I put the June thread in a different forum...although you can still access it through the link of course. The mods will move it to its proper place when they get a chance. Senior moment on my end.

Finishing up with the Wunderbar, Sharp Star, MWF and a great custom brush handle with a solid high quality knot in it. Two passes, BBS and that's the best you can ever hope for in my book. Thanks to everyone for all you do around here to keep this place alive and lively! Can't wait to move on into June and have another fantastic month with you all. Have a great start to your week and your month!

Thank you. The brass is a ferrule for a tool handle, actually.

    Sunday 5-31-2020 shave.
After watching a sad and anxious week of news, today I CHOSE to look at the world through rose colored glasses. A much needed respite.
My little pat.1912 Gem, weighty and comforting. Loaded with a first shave CVS blade...crisp and efficient.
Rose of Bulgaria cream. Such a sweet scent and creamy, rich lather. Two passes with a touch up calmed the senses and was a pleasant distraction. Applied with a well broken in restored, vintage Ever Ready boar, a reminder that old classics really can have a future.
Cleansing properties of Thayers Rose witch hazel provided a new start and fresh mind to start a new week. The Rose of Bulgaria a/s was refreshing but at the same time wrapped a floral sense of warm, sunny days ahead assuredness to my evening.
___I know, I know...it was just a shave, but because of the process we have as wet shavers, sometimes the time spent is enjoyably thoughtful to me.

E Types are great shavers; probably my favorite vintage injector! I like using the Schick B-20 Proline blades which I reload into empty Schick magazines.
