Leaving the computers at home, huh?

Sounds nice. I think you did mention it before. Pardon my oldness. My brain is full of candy sometimes. Sugar-free, of course. :p

Hope you two enjoy the time together.

No worries. If I weren't the one going, I'd probably forget too. :happy102
Lisbeth keeps reminding me... she's really excited about it.
We might actually take a laptop with us, but for the most part this should be an unplugged holiday.
We had originally talked about going to New Orleans instead, but when we got to actually doing the planning, it looked like it was going to cost a lot more.

Heck, if I were the one going I'd probably forget. Really.

The thing about taking the laptop is some hotels/motels make you pay for internet access. Which is ok really. Not like you go on vacation to sit in the room and surf the net. Plus, it only costs a dollar or two for 24 hours access.

Oooo....that's nice! You sure they're gonna even have internet access?
Better? About my foot? It's still red, but thanks to Greg and Rene (over in Music Tag) I'm a lot less stressed over it.

Nice place Greg.. what shaving gear you taking to a place like that?

JoAnna good to hear your stress level is down. Anything on my feet does that to me. I wear boots a lot so have rough feet anyway, but being Diabetic makes it worse.

I don't know that I'll have much time for hunting this year :(
I might try to go one weekend... fortunately we have family land so I don't have to reserve some godawful expensive lease or book my time months in advance to ensure a spot.

Probably so. Outside of town I imagine it's hit or miss, but in town I'm pretty sure they do since it says 'free wireless'

    Glad I could help :D

Most likely taking my Arko shave stick, badger brush, and a ball-end Tech.
    That's my usual travel set-up.

I don't have shoes on my feet most of the time. Slip on some to go outside, socks if I'm leaving the yard.
Not that I'm aware of. Yet. I try to check occasionally, but I'm not sure how much I'm feeling cause I know I'm touching the area.

And you wouldn't believe how hard it is to get somebody to play with your feet! No matter how sexy you are! I'm sure you guys know that. :D

I do not., I have been slipping in my care so have to get back to taking better care of myself.. but so far none of that stuff.

    Not bad at all.

I just got back from taking the roomie to work. Good stuff..

    Yeah, I don't obsess over travel-size this & that.
I roll my brush up in a paper towel to keep the bristles from getting bent, and the razor and spare blades I pack in that plastic case I showed you guys pictures of some months back.
(originally an MTM-Casegard jag & brush case)
All that fits nicely in my toiletries bag.

Simple is often the best. I use a G3 Gem.. which is the military version of the 1912. Has a nice lite handle and its own little case. Throw in a brush and I am good to go. I usually travel with a puck of williams or Colgate in a screw top plastic container that I can use to lather in then just screw the top on and stick back in my bag. I also travel with MY shavette some. very compact.

Every time you talk about the SE thing, you remind me that I should be making use of the Pella blades and practicing with my Ever Readys more often.

That and the fact that I need to get a new Injector... :(

LOL they are so easy to use not much practice needed.. much easier then a DE. Never used a injector much. I have a NOS pal that i will prolly try out here before too long.

Eh, maybe, it's the switching back and forth that makes it challenging.
I've definitely devoted much more time to DE technique.
(probably because I have over a dozen DE's and just the three SE's..excluding the E-type Injector)
