    Right on.
I think, after I get back from my trip, I'll post a WTB for a new Injector.
The three other SE's I have are pretty good examples, particularly that Damaskeene.

Yup love the Damaskeene. I have like 4 I think. they are nice I like the handle... but my Open Comb 1912 Gem Deluxe is my favorite.. then again I have not shaved with the 1900 Junior I got in today.. will have to wait till after 3 piece week.

I'm glad to hear it, from both of you. I actually found out about my type II after having some PN symptoms. Keeps me up sometimes (like tonight). You'll definitely know if you've got it. The good news is that it's probably possible to fight it off, or so I hope.

So, what's there to do around here at this hour. Justin should be waking up any second now...

I've yet to see an open comb up for sale, and the baton handles never really appealed to me.
I suppose I ought to post up a pic of my SE's, but I got two of them from Justin (the Damaskeene and a later model flip-top) and an ornate handle Ever Ready.

I'm like you, Greg. I don't use my SE's as often as I'd like, but I do enjoy them a bunch. Would love to find an open comb 1912 sometime. I really do get a closer shave with less effort when I use an SE. They're awesome.

Sorry for the off-topic shaving conversation... back to your regularly scheduled HYD. :laugh042

The open combs are kinda hard to find I think. they pop up on the bay now and then usually miss labeled.. all those SE you have are great shavers.

Yeah, I've had good luck with them... except the flip top, but I think it was just those Treet blades that didn't agree with my face. :o
And speaking of the open combs, there are a couple on the 'bay right now as part of different lots. I suppose I just have to be looking for one specifically.

One of those morning that I just do not feel like being awake. This darn drive all the way to Annapolis every day is starting to suck. Actually, it has always sucked. Oh well, it makes it possible to pay the bills.

    Same feeling here.......

For some reason I have much difficulty getting awake

What´s the distance between your home and Annapolis, if I may ask?

    Almost 80 miles/128km.

    WOW.......

I thought I had to commute some distance on a daily basis :ashamed001

Oh well, 90 km doesn´t sound that bad then :D

Yeah, it ain't bad in the morning, but the traffic is horrible in the evenings. I usually do not get home until after 7:00pm.

I don't feel so bad now. My commute is 60 miles (96 km) and traffic is worst for me on the way home in the morning... particularly during months when school is in.
In the evening it can be annoying, but not 'bad'.

Mine is in the morning better than the evening.

In the evening I leave a 17.00 from work and be home about 19.00 hrs

Wow! That's gotta suck finding out after it's already done damage.

    I hope so, too. :agelic13

Night, folks! Think I'm sufficiently tired enough to keep my brain and my foot from keeping me awake any longer.

Morning everyone... took a while to get caught up on reading posts and here it is time for me to go already.

JoAnna, I hope the foot is better today.
Greg, give those SE a chance, they are good shavers.
All of you long drive people - stay awake!

Wife is just starting with monitoring blood sugar and has reached a super frustration level because no matter how much carbs she cuts out of diet and how much she gives up want she wants to eat, her blood sugar is still too high and fluctuating madly from day to day.

Oh well, gotta run, I have a meeting before school.

    Morning bud.
Yeah, I give them a chance, just not often enough in my rotation.
I think I was initially a bit put off by the short life of the carbon steel blades. The Pellas give me another shave or two and that makes it quite a bit more satisfying.

Ooooo....AMC is showing the trailers for the new 'The Prisoner' series.
I haven't watched much of the rather trippy original series, but the new one looks to be a worthy successor.
It starts Nov. 15th... I must remember to set my Tivo.
