Wednesday 6/3/20 Gents, great shaves today - everyone was on their A-game My favorite cheap cologne:Halston 1-12, a galbanum-green bomb. Great summer freshie, and cheap and easy to find.. Always struggled with what to shave with when I want to spray that juice. A British gent in another blog was offering up a vintage Halston 1-12 puck for sale. It finally arrived from England. Wow - fragrance did not disappoint:however the lather performance was very disappointing. Foamy, not slick, dissipating, etc. . Well, will pair the soap with an unscented cream and a healthy load of the old PAA cube. Smells too good to not use. Don't know who Halston used to sub out the soap - but massive fail. Definitely not doing that again. I joined the Coast Guard when I was 18. Friday week 7 of 8 I was medically discharged. I was diagnosed with severe Ulcerative Colitis in bootcamp. But in boot camp I had to shave 4 times a day to pass the credit card test.
