    Good morning!

Another razor that doesn't make it into the rotation often enough. Three smooth easy passes for an excellent finish.

    Have a great day!

Myles, I am sorry that you had to be subjected to such ignorant and irresponsible behavior. Regardless of this parent’s myopic view of the challenges we all face, sometimes we innocently become forgetful due to distractions around our life, he sets a poor example as an supposedly mature adult for his son. No person should be a whipping board for someone else’s frustration. Until we learn to deal with the bigger picture, as you demonstrated with restraint, our country has many long days, months or even years ahead.

Noble Otter Shave Soap - BarrBarr
    @jtspartan 2019 30DC w/Omega Boar
    ABCo 7/8 Straight
Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements - Star Jelly ASB
Stirling Soap Co. AS - Barbershop

Super nice 2.5 pass shave today, no irritation or weepers from this hefty straight. All business, very little audible feedback as it mows through anything in it's path. DFS+ results, small patch on the jawline missed. Jason's handle loaded with an Omega 10099 boar.....super bowl lathering fun and goodness from a sample container of Noble Otter's BarrBarr. Really thirsty soap, awesome slick. Might have to pick some of this up.... Quick finish with a light application of PAA's Star Jelly, followed with a smattering of Stirling Soap Company's Barbershop aftershave splash.

And....I've only done one lather shot in nearly a year and a half....so in honor @Primotenore style, here's an addition to my inventory :)

Very pleased with this morning's Throwback Thursday shave. Bay Rum is probably the best Throwback item to use. Began as an idea for shaving waaaay back in the 1600's. 0:25 to load the Maggard brush(Marble Handle) with the Jeeves Bay Rum soap. Once again a little on the moist side as I got set for the first pass(meaning I was afraid it was going to be too watery). But I got through it...no issues. Second pass was drier. Decided to stop at 2 this time(as most my shaves are anyway). Happy to report no cuts nor weepers. :). But I am going to be honest and give this one a Super Duper Excellent, as I should have focused a little more on the right corner of my neck(past the ear and under the jawline). Left a little too much astroturf there.

Interesting history lesson on 'It was a dark and stormy night'. But....the only one that counts ;) is Charles Schulz's from 1971 when he had Snoopy on his doghouse, with a typewriter.

    Great shave Neal!

It's so shiny! Very awesome setup and shave Jim.

Very very nice Mark! Still in love with that mixed grip handle on that Wolfman.

    This is just after loading!
What resulted after the face-lathering cannot be depicted here, because it borders on Lather Porn.
I used to think I really liked big knots. 28mm and up, but as I mature,
I realize that the 22-25mm range knot is much easier to load and
    maneuver on the face.
This Astor is Number 82 of 90 created in 2009 to commemorate the 90th anniversary
of Simpson. They did produce an Astor in 2019 for the 100th anniversary,
but it just isn't as nice.

Today was the final shave with the Sharp Star. Yes, I was able to achieve a silky-smooth
shave, but the buffing needed to get it took too much time.
I think I got 4 great shaves from the one blade. Not bad.
The razor for today's shave was a pre-war Canadian Tech. Nice shaver,
nothing fancy; gets the job done.
I chose Ogallala Double Strength Bay Rum to finish.

Following a wonderful workout and a hot shower I was treated to another wonderful shave with this combination. May have to consider some components of this shave should I decide to do “Just One July”.

We have a beautiful, warm summer like day here on LI. It is about time. Have a great day gentlemen.
