Fantastic! I love the razor head/handle combination. Looks like they were made for each other.

    Let's Try CREAM: (June 4, 2020)

    Brush: Dogwood Handcrafts B8
    Razor: Gillette English Aristocrat Jr.
    Blade: Gillette Platinum (11)
Lather: Geo. F. Trumper Shaving Cream
Post Shave: Chattilon Lux Colonia Balsamica
Frag: Geo F Thumper Lavender Water

Late post for yesterday's shave - First time trying a cream and a soap that is glycerin based. Face lathering was a bit of a challenge but had better results with a bowl. Shave went better than expected - very slick lather that wasn't drying. Overall, a great 3 pass shave without any issues. The scent on this one is quite nice - pairing up with CB and lavender water seemed to work together very well.

Razor : Valet Auto Strop C1 Canadian Variant - Mfg 1920's, Gap has been altered to .007 thousands of a inch to smooth out the shaves. It is a lot more enjoyable for me to use with the smaller gap that was approx .011 before.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE (7) Great blade.
Soap: Razorock What the Puck Lime- great soap with strong lime scent, good summer time soap IMO, triple milled.
Brush: Razorock Noir 400 Plissoft 24 mm - great brush and reminds me of a well broke in Boar brush.
Preshave: Brush wash my whole face with CeraVe hand bar Cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 3 + Pickups.
Post shave: Nivea refreshing aftershave+ a small dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = [IMG] great shave with my Valet auto strop C1 model.

One beautiful piece of eye candy the Janus toggle, it is nice to see a razor they know how to still build with a lot of Quality & workmanship. Hope it shaves well for a new product, we will find out soon because the shaving community is very opinionated IMO?

I remember an Army Chaplain telling me that "The rewards don't go to the strongest, bravest, smartest or the fastest. The rewards go to the guy that just keeps trying by putting one foot in front of another when he has every reason to quit". Just keep doing what you're doing. I will keep you in my prayers.

This was a real good one. Installed a fresh Lord SS blade as they are decent but, not as sharp or smooth as the upper echelon blades. No worries though as the Janus & Lord hooked up quite well and Lisa’s gave the pair some serious suds for a fabulous BBS in 3 full passes. No buffing or touch ups required. Great shave all said and done. Now, it’s time to sit back, relax and enjoy the Rockies.

From my balcony, of course. Salud Gents..... :eatdrink047:
