Great shave, Jeff! I love the brush (you know this). The Chel is something I bought last year, but have only used a few times. I tried it as a pre-shave and also mixed in with a balm for after the shave. I like it better as a pre-shave. It feels nice and cool, but with the hot humid days in GA, I have to be careful not to get it anywhere close to my eyes. It will burn even hours after the shave if you're not careful!

Very nice, Gary! Looks like after the shave you could be off to the polo grounds for an early match and then heading to the local Tea Room... :D

    Just the Basics June

    Saturday's Shave

    Eversharp Hydro-magic
    Personna Injector blade
    Grizzly Bay custom brush
Razorock XXX shaving soap and aftershave

Today's shave was an easy two passes for a DFS. This razor is so easy to use and gives me a great shave every time. I love the scent of the Razorock XXX and because of its price and availablility, it could easily be a part of anyone's "basic" shave kit.

Thanks, Andrew! It’s getting pretty hot here in PA. I definitely appreciated the coolness this morning! It worked beautifully as a preshave! I made sure to wash my hand thoroughly! We have a place on Tybee Island. One of my Shake Sharps is there locked up in our personal closet. Covid cleared all the bookings from our regulars this season. We’re hoping to get down there this October or November, with God’s Grace, given we can avoid this plague. I frankly can’t handle the high summer and late Spring Georgia heat!

That sounds better. A scholar from Eton College should be very versatile!

Tybee is really nice and not too far a drive for me. That's a shame about losing your bookings. Stay safe.

Great shave, you master enabler! :angry017:. You’re the reason I finally ended up with one, but I’m content. I really love my Supply razor, particularly with Prolines! Using a cut-down Feather Super is just too dang fiddly. I’ll be sticking with Prolines with it. Hope your day goes well

Great photo and shave report! Sensitive skin, the bane of the wet shaver! I’m fortunate that after 57 yrs of scraping my face and twenty or so my head, I’ve built up a lot of scar tissue!
