Yesterday I got my first Elite brush. Its Irish Bog Oak with silver rings according to the paper that came with it. It is stunning. I saw a Bog Oak brush with 26mm knot on his site. I asked Bob if he would make one with a 24mm knot. This brush turned out better than anything I could imagine. The only criteria I gave Bob was 24mm knot. And man did he deliver. I can not wait to use this brush. It is hard to see but in light you see a deep grayish color and almost black on the thicker grain. I tried to capture it in the photos and if you look closely you can see it a bit.

Thanks. I have way too many brushes and it's hard to think if this brush is my favorite or one of my brushes made by steve on badgerandblade. His giving maple tree is legendary. Just so many great brushes in my collection and I think this is the best.

    Not into wood handled brushes.

I'll make an exception for that one. Very nice.
