  1. Thank you, Joe. It was the first DE razor that presented me with a real challenge. I used it for 30 straight shaves and tamed that beast. This was in my pre-straight days.
  2. Love the ebony, James. :happy088:
  3. I will be watching for any mismatches, Sensei. ;)
  4. Congrats on the brush hauls, guys!
  5. Dr. Mrs. Primo would have a completely different reaction.
  6. Thanks, Joseph!

Oh, I'm sure I'll hear something when she sees the other brush that arrived today that's still in the mailbox. I may leave that one in the truck for a day or two.

  9. Thanks Jason!
  10. Thank you, Gentlemen. It was a nice start to the day, no question.
  11. Well, THAT made it easy......perhaps I'll do it the Jeffway.
  12. Thanks Jim.....I must create a "budget plan" this year and next year so as to make sure there's plenty of Bill Neumann to go around for my face and neck. Course it would be nice to get some DISCOUNTS, like I already have for future purchases of Sir Hare Co. and The Soap Exchange.
  13. Hello Gary, thanks. I'm about to list my shave for tomorrow, but too much fanmail to get to!!

  14. I hope you are right...Ironically though, I have seen a few homemade Aftershave recipes that suggest using it.
That is a good place to drink it. Not very far to go when the effects hit.
In the bush camp I was in, Grape Koolaid was the mix. It was not the most sophisticated of times.
Hyder, Alaska is an interesting place. It exists only, as far I could tell, to give water access to Stewart, BC as the Alaska/BC border is within a few hundred metres of the ocean there. It is an incredibly remote part of the continent. The border there in those days (early 1990's) was unmanned, if you can imagine such a thing in our modern times. There was an 'honour system' in place where you were supposed to call a customs office (the # was provided) if you had anything significant to declare. You could, however, buy Everclear there. It is unavailable in BC. Very popular with the bunch of university aged forestry workers I was in camp with that summer.
  15. Very nice! Great match
  16. Gorgeous looking brush Joe. Congrats. It's a great match for Mad Max.
  17. Looks fantastic Jim. Congrats. The Ebony is really a great color for the CH2. I love mine.

A very early morning shave with an early evening post. Everything played well together. Three passes and touch ups ended in another drama free BBS shave. I just flat enjoy using the Supply CO/Proline Combo. I hope everyone has a great Monday.
  19. Thank you guys! The pic doesn't do it justice, but I am so happy that I have a matching brush for the Mad Max.
