    The Shave
    Early morning shave, busy orientation day, catching up on posts, and now finally getting around to posting :rolleyes:

    I was feeling daring this morning and applied the shave stick directly to my face and face lathered rather than going with the bowl. I had no idea how wonderfully brisk that gets with a mentholated soap--definitely an incentive to keep that technique in the arsenal.

    I went with a three pass (WTG, XTG, ATG) shave. No touch ups. No real issues with any of the passes other than a disappearing weeper on my chin during the XTG pass--it was gone before the third pass. I’ll say this was slightly better than a DFS. I’ve got the slightest bit of irritation, though, on the outer corners of my upper lip where I took a steeper angle than I should have in a misguided attempt to reduce too much too quickly. I'd say 'live and learn,' but... ;)

    Thanks gentlemen. Your prayers and kind words mean the world to Kathy and me. I tossed some photos and comments in our album starting at "The Latest." I sorta geeked out today during the transplant, and you'll see that if you peruse the photos. Most importantly, all the watch photos are grouped near the end of the album. :)

    We're blessed, happy, relieved, tired, hungry, and sleepy. I need a shave too. Crashing soon. :)
