That's awesome, Patrick! Takes me back to when I was a kid living in the Tahoe/Donner area--blue steel roofs all over the place. I loved the look (still do)
Thanks, Tim. The past couple of months have felt so great with no neck irritation or razor bumps/ingrown hairs. My two passes do include some additional “repasses” during the shave on parts of the beard area but I’ve stuck strong with no ATG on the lower neck/shirt collar zone. I guess I could just say it’s a 2+ pass shave. The tenderness is gone too, which was partly due to shaving over the old razor bumps. I explored every technique, blade rigidity, lather type, preshave, and post shave I could find. Nothing worked as well as just leaving the lower neck as a close shave and not chasing BBS and getting the ghost hairs on the neck.
Great shave and report, Tim! “Live and learn” usually works great...until I think, let’s try it one more time and see if it will work now.
The roof looks great! I’ve been contemplating if I want to go with a metal roof when the time comes for me.
Thanks, Clint! The brushes were ordered a month apart. The fact that they arrived on the same day wasn't very fortunate. I did get the dubl duck in the house, knot set and on the shelf without drawing attention to myself. Luckily I had some quarters in a basket on the workbench and didn't have to ask for any. I never have change in my pockets these days. Sent from my SM-T800 using Tapatalk
