Thanks, Clint. I figure workdays are as good as any to plow through a soap that I don't particularly care for the scent of. The smells here at work can mask just about anything.

    williams wednesday
    brit new rfb/bullet handle
    7 oclock black
    semogue 830
    vintage williams mentholated
    60s canadian shulton old spice

good morning gents, loaded a random brit rfb head with a 7 oclock black and screwed on the .375 holland and holland handle, fantastically made by our @jimjo1031 from a casing and old type handle parts.he made me one in nickel and one in brass.very cool, and functional.soaked the semogue, and heavy loaded the vintage williams ,fabulous lather, smooth bbs in 2+ passes.handle wasn't very slippery and its a tapered casing, nice weight and balance.gave the shave a vintage feel as folks made all sorts of neckaces, lighters and stuff from bullet casings many years ago..60s shulton old spice to finish..awesome.have a fine day everyone..

I felt the same way about the TOBS Mr Taylors Cream. It worked fine but I didn't really care for the scent. Since it was a gift from the wife it got used first and often. ;) I think I am going to power through the Mike's OC&BP soap in @Primotenore style. I have two new boar brushes coming in so that should be a good time to knock a soap out.

    Wonderful shave and picture, Gary!
    Sounds like a plan, Clint!
I think the Astra Planeta is a 5oz tub and I've only used it two or three times so It'll be awhile to finish it off.

As I mentioned a few shaves ago, there remains only one razor in my collection that I haven’t shaved with, my Le Coq Cage Head. I have two of these, but had never shaved with my NOS, complete with the 100 yr old display tag. The user that I have is a very efficient shaver, but like my R41 requires requires one attend to the shaving process, as it can bite. The trade off is that if one maintains focus, the shave is always incredibly close. I expected the same to hold true for this razor, and it did.

Great shave! Two passes (WTG, ATG) and I was delivered right back to VBBS land. The Nancy Boy shave cream enhanced with 6 drops of M-Bomb is seriously wonderful! It won’t appeal to those of you who revel in strong soap stinks, but if you are looking for an incredibly thick, slick protective lather you won’t be disappointed. The beauty of the stuff is that one doesn’t have to worry whether it’s water hungry or not. It just works every time to deliver a great lather. The razor has a very wide sweet spot and shaved smoothly and very efficiently. That first pass cut through the stubble right down to the skin line. The final pass just consisted of some selected buffing. I feel clean, cool, smooth and refreshed.

RAZOR: NOS Le Coq Cage Head
    BLADE: Sharp Star
    PREP: Cold water rinse
    BRUSH: Omega Pro48 Boar
    SOAP: Nancy Boy Signature
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with Glyce Glycerin soap followed by Humphreys Lilac WH and Chiseled Face Natural AS Splash. Finished with Nancy Boy Signature Scent Cooling After-Shave Gel
