That might be one of the coolest photo filters ever. Great shave too!

On the back it recommends of course using it with Gillette 3 or 5 razors. They have the same color scheme so the foam “should” be stocked in stores that carry those razors. I’ve seen it in Walmart too.

My 11 year old daughter used up any remaining shave foam I still had while she was making slime. So I figured I’d get a can just to have one in the house. Back when I did use shave foam, I always used Barbasol. I may have to give this one a try.

    Just the Basics June!

    June 10

Razor - Feather SS Artist Club (pain stick)
    Blade - [IMG]
Soap - Oleo Soapworks El Caballero
Brush - 30DC LE Meet Up w/ SynBad bulb
    Post - Alum

A bit early tonight but it just worked out that way. Since I started a "basic pain stick" pattern with the CJB I just moved on to another one. The Feather SS was my second pain stick and is definitely a higher quality build than the CJB. However, it features that "safety lip" on the holder that changes the shave juuuuuuusssssssssst a tad. Enough that the first shave with it is usually a bit of a back and forth on getting the angle handled. Fresh Feather Pro blade to make sure it's deadly because, after all, what's the point of a pain stick if it can't inflict pain? El Caballero with the Meet Up brush was a quick and easy super slick lather producer and set the stage well. The first couple of strokes took just a bit of adjusting to get that angle going but once I had it it stuck. Three very nice and smooth passes with no pain or blood which is a very good thing. Alum was a bit warm on my neck from the final touch up I did but other than that, no issues at all.

We're a day closer to the weekend and that's a very good thing! Have a great Thursday!!

I didn’t know Maol scents were available in shave soaps now. Good info!
I really like the quality of the splashes.

Can you tell where I'd rather be than upstate NYS? lol. Tribute to the state we are planning on moving to someday.
-my Gem Micromatic with a Gem/Ted Pella.
-Shave Den Shop Florida Water type soap...still has it's spot on scent, and plenty of it. Lathers extremely well, even in our super hard water. Feels great after rinse off!
-vintage brush with new life given by @jimjo1031
-tried and true refreshment of Osage Rub for great cool down after shower/shave.
-ahhhhh...Florida Water as an a/s! And a spritz or two of The Shave Den Shop Florida Water type cologne for good measure...I use this stuff sparingly due to its unobtanium status, but it's a lovely scented and plenty long lasting enough gem of a product.
