    Congratulations Clint! 31 years, awesome.

So...my favorite band, Rush, with lyrics usually written solely by Neil Peart, has a song called 'Dog Years'. Some of the poignant lines from the song:

    .....
    It seems to me
As we make our own few circles round the sun
    We get it backwards
And our seven years go by like one
    .....

So true....probably part of what Swati is talking about ;)

    Have a great anniversary! :eatdrink047:

End of the 30 days (almost) started mid May

Start: Razorock Wunderbar (at start I'd had some closest BBS shaves no irritation but also some bloody messes and burn)
Crown shaving supreme glide pre shave if no shower first
    Arko stick (cheap but slick)
    EJ best badger
    Personna blue USA
    Thayers

I've mastered the Wunderbar, I like it but won't say I love it. I can shave nick and weeper free so long as I make sure there is not a pimple or bump to get snowplowed off. Two passes on face (WTG, ATG) Neck WTH and (45 degrees W/ATG) and on head one ATG with touch ups in a couple of difficult areas to BBS.
That is my downfall with this razor, at 57 I still get occasional blemishes. I think because I'm young at heart. And yet nobody asks me to the prom anymore.

Most efficient shaver I'm sure I will ever use. I don't have any super aggressive razors to compare, except high settings on Rex . And it is a smooth comfortable shave, very little blade feel actually. However, if it takes an extra pass or some buffing with another good razer with a more carefree shave I'd probably enjoy it more, and probably in the same amount of time.
I just picked up an Above the Tie S1 Slant, (and a RR Old Type Open Comb) and gave away my Razorock G37. (one in, one out, that's the rule in our small house so something else should go too) I'll make a comparison of the three in another post. Maybe there is a forum for that.
This month I'm going to rotate between Razors while still trying to learn to love the Wunderbar, every other or third shave.

Thanks to everyone who gave me tips.
Lightest touch (knew that). Ride the cap. Hold handle high up, in fact on the other side of the fulcrum point for the top of the head (counter balance!)
Other things I learned, Long passes are generally better than multiple repeat short strokes. Feather blade not recommended. Mid sharp blades are good, I was using Personna, but also cheated and tried a Gillette Silver Blue.
No buffing and likely not even another immediate pass unless you add a touchup of more soap or even just water if residual slickness is good. This thing goes right down to skin leaving no residue behind for a second go or buff. I often held a brush, even if just wet, ready to add a touch of loose lather or water.

    Recommended user for Wunderbar
Coarse beard or thick head, or non daily shaver.
    Smooth complexion
    One pass shavers to DFS
Obsessed with the ultimate efficiency (I'm cured!)

Another point Crown Shave Supreme Glide Pre Shave. Not sure if it's the slickest out there but it's very very good at softening the beard if you aren't showering first, and reasonably priced.

Great shave report with nice details! Hey, we all end up shaving off bumps now and then. Really enjoyed your report, David (I’m hoping that’s your name based on your handle.

Welcome to the dark side, Blair! Nancy Boy is awesome stuff. It really doesn’t take much for an incredibly rich, thick, slick lather! Glad you enjoyed it.
