   I know that you don't need to soak a synthetic shaving brush before using it, but how many seconds do you have to rinse it under the faucet?

   2-3 seconds. Then shake the water out and load the brush.

   and then keep going back and just dip the tip of the brush in water as the shave progresses. There's lots of good to be said for synthetic brushes, but they don't hold water for beans.
