I was going to shave tomorrow for Favorite Friday but I couldn't wait. I decided to rehone this razor fir the first time because I saw some flat spots under the light. I know. I am in a honing mood. Lol! Anyway, I didn't need to reset the bevel, but started at the next higher grit and finished to the full progression. This is a stainless steel blade which is supposed to be more difficult to sharpen, but I did fine because I used the arm test and lo and behold it was clipping hairs. This razor did a great job mowing down my 32 hr whiskers in 2.5 passes. The razor always performed well, but tonight it was much better than ever. I hardly used any pressure on this razor that it was just a pleasure to shave. I got an irritation free, 1 weep, BBS shave. Used a styptic to erase the weep. Applied the Old Spice aftershave and I didn't feel any burn whatsoever which tells me that it was a smooth shave. Have a good night guys!
