    TGIF. Back to the NEW this morning. Expertly replated by @MrEE , it matches well with Evan's turned handle as well. Whipped up the usual excellent Jeeves lather with this quality synth knot and had 3 easy passes. Not perfect results, but not very far from it. Didn't really chase it either, though. Finishing with a CL splash always ends up being a good idea.

    Under the cloak of darkness, I placed an order last night for 1000 Voskies. I threw caution to the wind and ordered a Tabac puck in the milk glass bowl as well. A feller might as well live large.

    Everyone likes Tabac, right? Some are even manly enough to admit it.

    Shaves with my Slim, 30DC LE Brush, and Tabac have generally been great. Had my first tiny cut on my nostril this morning, but nothing major. Not a single granule has appeared in the lather.

    My Bride is doing well (super proud of her), and we're taking it a day at a time in the great state of Minnesota.

    Has anyone else noticed the prices of Russian blades increasing? Voskies were $7 per 100 not too long ago. Best price I could find now was a bit over $11 per hundred at Connaught.

    I should be set for awhile.

    barrister's reserve waves

    good morning gents,pouring rain this morning but not deterred from a sunny day shave.newly arrived nickel new sc somerset with it's tuckaway length handle locked and loaded with a platinum blade,wcs synthetic built a fabulous waves lather,bbs in 2+ passes,waves aftershave to finish.awesome..cool razor,a little head heavy but it dances around the face and finds it's angle with ease.a keeper for sure..have a fine friday everyone..

    they are all discontinued Charlie..the shavocolipse is on the horizon..:D..hope you are all well.:)..we'll all be fighting over Patrick's astra blues in short order..

    Thanks, Gary! You won’t be disappointed! It’s ranked as top or best of the premiums for several years by Sharpologist. It’s also much more reasonably priced than much of its competition.
