That's an awesome focus, Keith, and a great pair of shaves! Glad you were able to get the Auto Strop up and running--Zoom (and Jeff) saves the day

 

Run, push ups, pull ups and sit ups until you think you will die and then do a lot more. In a way the 6 months will at least let you miss basic in the heat of the summer. From personal experience, basis in the summer truly sucks.

DE Sunday--”Surprisingly Good”

• Blade: Voskhod (3)
• Brush: The JOmegan
• Soap: Stirling Iced Pineapple & Glastonbury--prepared and chilled with ice water
• Menthol: Stirling Frost Drops
• AS: Aqua Velva Ice Blue (1 Frost Drop)
• Balm: Stirling Glacial Unscented

The Shave
3 very quick passes this morning (the Missus was making French toast, and I wanted to be done before the food was ready). WTG, XTG, and ATG, with only a few small touch ups on the bottom of the chin and around the bottom lip got me BBS. Today is a chase day, but I really didn’t even need to chase.

The lack of chasing surprised me quite a bit actually. The Flare Tip is a very mild razor, and the Voskhod was on its 3rd shave. Evidently not an issue. While I still prefer an aggressive shaver, I’m finding that the aggression level doesn’t matter quite as much as I used to think--especially when I’m shaving daily.

Yes, I can’t disagree with that lol, a lot of prayers are going out my way for my friend right now. He’s really gonna have to push hard since he’s gonna be there in the dead of this summer heat and them good ole sand fleas.
