Right Tim, it's nice to make my shaves "taught-we" . I'd like to put in another shave with that combo, but tomorrow may have to be it, as a hot spell is coming. As you may know, I am experimenting with doing more "winter" shaves this spring and summer, but if it gets to the upper-80's and above....well, there's always the Stoylin Frost Drops. But I have lots of Aqua Velva, Mennenn, and Stoylin Glacial Lime ready to go for those hot days.

 

Awesome set up and report, Joe! I forget who I had seen using Darkfall in the past (I want to say it was Jim), but I remember being mighty impressed with the scent profile. Good luck on those final days of school!

 

Totally forgot to mention that that is the cutest puppy ever!

 

As we approach the middle of June, I am proud to declare a winner in the survey! Yes, "Keeping on like I always do" will walk away with this one. The closest challenger is 35% away. Now let's see who comes in second, third, etc.

Monday's Shave

Easy, comfortable shave this morning!
2.5 passes for a DFS++ result. The extra half pass was on the jawline areas from ear to ear and it is now a smooth, glassy area.

Thanks Tim! I would say that I would be able to put a decent edge on a razor. I don't have the tools to do full restorations where I can polish the razors verywell. Also, if the geometry is off, then it really takes someone who knows what he is doing. Frankly, I had to redo this razor a number of times with many progressions and laps so I am not efficient. I still will fine tune it to see if I can get it real smooth. Right now, I can get a decent shave with it, but it really isn't fully comfortable. However, just knowing that I can get a decent shave with it is awesome.
