  1. Another couple of hours left here.
Having an apple and listening to my coworker negotiate with a guy selling acetylene tanks.
  2. Morning everyone...

TSDWSCISZ.... hmmm, I went through mine fast but its all good.. I think I have enough to get through a Saturday/Sunday shave.

Fuzzy: hoping you hear good things at that appointment - best of luck

I had an odd dream last night. I tried logging in and found out I was banned for intentionally giving out bad information. The dream was real enough that this morning I wasn't sure if it was real or not until I managed to log in. :D
  3. Good morning one and all, and I welcome you to the show.
  4. Ahoy!
  5. **buuuuuuurrp**
    **frrrrrrrrrrrrrrt**
    <scratchity scratch scratch>

morni....oh, sorry, forgot to get dressed.....
  6. Okay, so should I be ashamed that somehow my heart is warmed by this exchange between some anonymous people I don't know on the internet regarding my work on the tophat dog?

I especially love the comment about the horse.

Anybody seen today's woot? Curse my poor finances!
  7. Old people, I swear.
  8. You really shouldn't swear. It's not very nice.
  9. Sorry 'bout that.

  14. Any of you guys like the Irish Moos soap? If so, try this:

    You will need the following:

    IM stick
    Cheese grater
    Bowl
    Menthol crystals
    Water

Take 1 stick of IM and grate very finely.
Place grated soap flakes in bowl.
    Boil water
Mix a small pinch of menthol crystals in two tablespoons of water
Pour mentholated water in bowl with soap flakes
    Stir very well

Now compress the flakes into the bottom of the bowl and sit it somewhere to dry.

You have just made your very own puck of Iced Irish Moos!!
  15. Eight O'Clock didn't impress me the one time I bought it.
For being a whole bean coffee, I expected more of a fresh flavor.
I don't know about Yuban, but it has to be better. :D
  16. Really? Eight O'Clock has become my favorite!
Yuban is pretty good too, and fairly inexpensive.

But, you're the first to answer, so I'm gonna go aeropress some Yuban! :D
  17. Does anyone use regular coffeepots anymore?
  18. The adventures of Dandy Dog, for any who might have missed an iteration here or there:

  19. By 'regular' you mean...? :happy102

I use an autodrip (granted, it's a fairly nice Cuisinart, but I have a mini-pot at work)
I also have a french press at work, but I hardly ever use it.
Oh, and there's the Toddy, but it's too time consuming to be used without some planning.

I've yet to buy into the Chemex, any of the vacuum brewers, or the Aeropress yet.

A better question might be "who still uses a percolator?"
  20. Micah, thanks for the Woot info... many an e-mail back and forth to wife on that one... and we are still thinking about it

Never had Yuban.... but coffee is a definite yes!

goes well with today's XKCD don't you think?

sounds like an idea... no menthol crystals here though...

Yay! its bosses day... woo hoo... at least there is cake
