    Beautiful shaves over the last two weeks, managed to get 16 beautiful shaves out of the derby extra.
    These shaves are from last week, ive since replaced the derby with a Gillettes 7 o clock sharp edge, and re visited the body shop maca root cream, and ive gotten much better results than i remember getting, I'll post a new review on it after the next week or so.

    Shave 1:
    Razor: 1948 Gillette aristocrat barber pole handle
    Blade: derby extra 11,12,13
    Brush: Wilkinson sword classic
    Soap: bundubeard coffee
    Balm: prep

    Shave 2:
    Razor: Gillette aristocrat barber pole
    Blade: derby extra 14, 15, 16
    Brush: omega 49
    Soap: arko shave stick

    The ERN was another razor sent to @gssixgun for a new honing before I decide how to thin my overly full inventory of 5/8ths and 11/16ths. It shaved like a dream and made a strong case for staying in the den. :happy088:

    ***EDIT - 2 Pass + minor touch up. Very close to BBS. I don't dare try to chase BBS with this razor lest I get burned. Very aggressive. I've learned to stay minimal and limit strokes over the same spots. I try to be very conservative on just when I think there are diminishing returns on additional blade contact on the same spot of skin vs smooth feel. Most other razors afford some leeway....not so with this beast. Surviving the shave with mostly smooth skin and no irritation is a 'win'. And I won today's battle against this finicky razor.
