Humm I spend a night out doing ummm things.. and you folks get lockjaw or something.. sheesh.. well off to bed class from 0900 to 1700 tomorrow then back home to LA woohoo Get to sleep in my own bed tomorrow night.. I miss my comfort zone when I travel.. really bad.

ugh crappy update. I didn't have a fever most of yesterday but as of a few hours again I have one again and one of my sinuses is killing me... I'm guessing I managed to get a sinus infection on top of the flu which isn't surprising at all with my sinuses. Back to health services today *sigh*

 

Morning. My entire household is sick, which sucks. The baby has had me up for two hours, and I have to leave for work in fifteen minutes. Gonna be a loooooonnnnnng day.

Enough complaining though, what is good?

 

Well, at the risk of jinxing myself, I'm fine.

The neti pot is your friend. Good for keeping those sinuses in check.

 

those things just look scary

 

They look like something you'd use to water a plant, and using one isn't something you'd want your boyfriend to watch you do.
But when used with an isotonic saline solution (non-iodized salt!!), it doesn't burn and keeps the sinuses flushed.
Clean sinuses are happy sinuses.

 

I should probably be using one considering I get a sinus infection at least twice a year

Niiice. I just wish they'd make these things capable of reading plain txt files too! Is that so much to ask for? It's not like I'm asking to be able to open a MS Word document... just a simple .txt.
