Great report, David--the ATT sounds like a winner. I had a G37, and really liked it, but you are correct; although it is a fantastic performer, it looks like a budget razor. For me, not an issue, but for folks who want their gear to look as wonderful as it works, I can see that being a problem.

Man, the plating on that NEW never fails to impress, and it looks great with the brush handle and Desert Vetiver container--some beautiful, muted silvers

• Soap: Stirling Glastonbury--prepared and chilled with ice water, 6 Frost Drops added
• Menthol: Stirling Frost Drops
• AS: Pinaud Citrus Musk (1 Frost Drop)
• Balm: Stirling Glacial Unscented

The Shave
Planning on keeping my shaves simple on the weekdays. 2+ passes (WTG/XTG) got me near BBS--except for the tip ‘o me chin. A single touch up would have rectified that situation, but I didn’t bother to check. It’s not bad enough for me to feel compelled to pull the Slim back off the shelf, but I’ll give it a quick check next time. Really liking the 2+ pass shave. Simple, effective, and good enough for government work (maybe even slightly better). And to top it all off, no irritation.

That is a great PIF comparison of the razors David! I've never gotten into the want of a horse hair brush, for the reasons you mention (and I've paid attention to others mentioning much the same ).

Very nice setup and shave details Joseph! While I'm 99.5% believer in the TTT school, there's always that 0.5% that of tools & products that rise above the rest. I believe you've found that with those Wizamets.

I completely forgot to describe the scent. The BAUME.BE aroma is extremely pleasant. Very lightly fragranced.....to my nose, it's subtle lemon citrus with barely a hint of mint oil (w/sweet). If anyone remembers Mom in the 70s and 80s polishing wood furniture.....with Lemon Pledge, for some reason it reminds me of that (in a very good way!). Or, maybe my nose is broken completely....

Very nice report Andrew! Big fan of light menthol fragrance. Nautica Voyage EdT, great stuff!

Super Silver shave Jason! Love the image. SV Desert Vetiver....sounds like a super fragrance. I'm about to have to be at that same 'one in-one out' mindset you....wait, what did you get rid of/finish? Or....did I miss something?
