This bowl of Erasmic is the final part of my kids’ Father’s Day gifts to me, but it was delayed in shipping and arrived today. The scent off the puck is not what I expected but I haven’t used it yet, so hopefully I’ll get a better idea of a description when I do.
My order from Connaught Shaving finally arrived - it took just a bit over a month. In their defense, I received an email the day after I ordered that they had already processed and shipped it. The delays were from the postal services. They were nice by adding an extra tube of Palmolive for free, noting that it was a damaged box. That’s great because I just throw the box away anyway. The brush is an Omega 11126. I’ll start breaking it in on the next shave. Everything is new to me except the La Toja sticks. They’re extra backups I added to the order.
Tuesday's mail call is from West Coast Shaving. Today I got the Gentleman's Nod/Zaharoff Signature soap, aftershave splash and candle set.
Another pharmacy pick up. An obvious cry for help, as I need aftershave like I need a hole in the head. But I have to say this is really good- light in scent and feel, a great summer splash that cools (without much menthol) and refreshes. Notes of citrus, berries, and aquatics. Average scent longevity.
A P-38 Lightning T-Shirt and hat. A cased Gem 1912 razor travel set, which is in pristine condition. Possibly never used.............
I love our hobby. It's the only one I can think of, where acquisition disorders are a badge of honor!
Very cool, Jim! Did you get your Williams mug at Walmart too? I’m guessing it was ordered at the photo center?
