  1. The me is good. Just relaxing.. I have been off work for almost a week. well the trip to Biloxi was technically work.. but have not been into the Surveillance room in a week. That makes me antsy.

But things are nice and quiet here.. I likey that,

    Fuzzy
  2. Yup. Quiet is good for the soul. I think we all need a little more quiet...and maybe a little more noise sometimes too.

A good buddy of mine did his Navy A School in Biloxi in 1977. He said it was an interesting place. :think002
  3. When are you heading back to the cameras, Fuzzy?
  4. I did not really get far out of the Casino..but it looked nice from the windows lol

I go back tomorrow afternoon at about 1615 or so,

    Fuzzy
  5. I lied just got a call to come in for a sick friend in the room.. DOM Que my music please... HERE I COME TO SAVE THE DAY!!!!

  7. For some reason, you don't seem glum enough for an Eeyore.
  8. Ummm, thanks. I guess...:think002

Sorry Dom, but "Here I come to save the day!" is permanently ingrained in mind as Mighty Mouse.

  9. Good evening all.
Thank goodness I'm more rested tonight.
I'm about 90ish miles into the break-in of the new motorcycle... the cooler weather is not a deterrent. :D
  10. Congrats Greg! Always loved getting a new cycle, always hated the break in period too. I always followed the manufactures recommended guideline too, I never believed in the "Break it in like you're gonna ride it" crowd.
  11. Dom,

If you're still here, please try again -just saw that my pm storage was max'd out...sorry!
  12. There are some other methods I wouldn't mind trying, but so far I'm keeping it under 6k, varying speed & RPM range, and not grabbing a handful of brake until the pads & rotors have some bedding time.
I need to go Monday or Tuesday and get them to drain & refill the oil. They probably won't want to until the 620 mile service interval, but most of the guys on the Buell board suggest a break-in oil change in the 100-300 mile range.
  13. Yeah, sounds right. My mechanic always said keep close to the guidelines, but it wouldn't hurt to run it up towards redline every once in a great while.

Oh a Buell huh? Which model?
  14. 2009 1125R :D
I've been Buell-curious for years, but it was always a "some day" sort of bike for me.
But now that Harley axed the whole division, I figured it was now or never.
    I got a $12k bike for ~$7k. That's what I call a decent deal.
  15. As it should be. ;)

In the midst of adding some razors to the store, that I've been hoarding for awhile now. Got the Injectors and the SEs added. Just 16 DEs to add now. 10 of which are Super Speeds. Had no idea I had so many. :whacky011

Anyways, if you take a look at the listings, let me know if I messed up anything.
  16. Holy carp! I've been out of the bike loop for too long. I didn't know that they axed the devision. Just went to the website and read the press release. Sad days indeed. Erik always was quite the innovator. His later bikes are awesome looking too.

Sounds like you got a heck of a deal too! :signs107
  17. Yeah, I feel pretty good about it.
I loved my Warrior, but I just knew if I let the opportunity to own a new Buell pass me by, I'd regret it.
No room in the garage for two bikes nor for two insurance payments.
  18. Don't rain tomorrow, don't rain tomorrow. <fingers crossed>

    :transport016
  19. Wow, thats a large change in bike styles for you.

I just watched the video on the Buell site, looks like it was all Erik could do to make it through the whole thing without breaking down.
