Great combination Joe! Double Duck still on my 'want' list....someday. Ya know, I'm a pretty active guy, but a work out and an hour & 1/2 of splitting wood all in the same day.....um, at least I know I'd sleep really good!

Thanks, Clint! I thought the back yard might be a good backdrop for the greens.

Thank you, Blair. It’s fun to get such good performance from a product so inexpensive.

    Good evening guys!

It's been hot this week and I believe this is my 3rd consecutive menthol shave. I have to say that Cryogen hit the spot. It really is a freeze face soap. I have been very positive about this soap, but now I have to give a negative slant on it. Yes, you really have to add a lot of water to get a decent lather. My problem with this soap is that the water doesn't evaporate and thus, the soap's texture turns mushy. When I don't wring the excess water out of the brush, this soap still loads as a paste. It facelathers in clumpy glue-like bits and I have to add tons of water to get a shaveable lather. In the beginning, the soap wasn't mushy, but it still had the gluey texture on the face that still needed plenty of water. What really gets me upset is that the tub has a big donut hole and I haven't had 10 shaves with this soap. Now, I hardly put a dent in the matching aftershave so I will eventually be using it with other soaps. Again, this soap gives a great freeze and it is a decent performer, but I will not buy it ever again because of the small amount of shaves from a tub. Anyway, I did 2 passes with some touchups on a 50 hr beard to get an IBSS++. On my first pass, I did get two sideburn weeps that disappeared with the styptic pen. I didn't get any irritation. Applied the matching aftershave for the renewed menthol hit. I really feel refreshed. It's ashame about Cryogen, but I guess I will make a Stirling order for some Glacial and Chill soaps to replace the Cryogen. Due to tech difficulties there will be no photos. Have a nice evening guys!

I had a similar experience, Joe. I sold my tub some time ago. M-Bomb and Chel really as additives do the trick when combined with a menthol AS or Balm.
