    Great shave report, Andrew! I’m not familiar with that brand of blade, but apparently it did the trick! You’ve given me an idea re: your Fatboy. I’ve never shaved mine wide open. I usually shave at 6 or 7 and end up with a so-so shave. I may give it a shot!

    Thanks, Andrew! That’s true, but my friend was spot on re: my tone. I'm continuing on my open edge journey, but will definitely be watching my tone.

    Thanks, Jeff! When using a new blade brand in this razor, I always set it at 9. If it feels extra sharp, I will back down to 7 and then 5. My skin just reacts better that way.
