A wonderful shave really improves the rest of the day! The scales on that razor are striking, Joe! Excuse my ignorance, but that is a vintage razor, isn’t it?

3 passes today for a DFS++ (this is BBS everywhere except my lower neck where I go WTG only). This soap makes my skin feel so nice that I lathered up for a third pass instead of just my usual two. I'm pleased I did.

Fine shave Clint! I am surprised the knot has given you some cause for concern. I guess you separately bought the knot and placed it in the handle yourself.

Thank you Jeff! I know that there is a Glacial Satsuma. However, I need to liquidate at least half my collection of soaps before I could ever think of ordering soap. I just don't want to leave this world leaving a ton of used soaps behind. For that matter, the same goes for my Rockwell blades.

Fabulous shave, Andrew! I feel the same way about my two standards, Nancy Boy Signature and MWF. I really appreciate a great intra and post shave feel! Sounds like you duo as well!

Sounds like a plan! I’m still living in my old suburban place and have the condo in the city we haven’t visited since February. It seemed much smaller when there were four kids running around through it.

Awesome report, Jeff! Right now it probably seems like you will never, ever, EVER get beyond CCS with the Dovo (I felt that way for the longest time), but that will change--eventually. I still don't shave as closely with a shavette as I do with a DE, but I can pretty easily get near BBS or a DFS if something was off that day.

I never noticed it before, but the safety bar design for the Occam is really cool!
