    It's funny how orange gets lumped into the summer scent category. Here in the Central Valley, there are two seasons for oranges, and the biggest and best of those seasons (provided we don't get hit with frost) is winter. I can't think of Christmas without picturing warm, spiced orange flavored drinks. Anything related to oranges is most definitely a year round thing for me :D

    Such a cool looking prison shiv, Keith! Please explain why it's harder on a strop than other straights/kamis. I'm not a straight razor user (yet......), so I don't understand why one blade would be a strop eater, while others aren't. I suppose what perplexes me is because you're drawing backwards the edge shouldn't come into play in a damaging way - ??? Pardon my ignorance about this. You've been in the game for a long time, so if you say it's harder on a strop, I believe you.

    Thank you, Clint! My picture doesn’t do it justice really.

    Did you get hit with any of those strong storms this afternoon? The power went out on me while shopping in Kroger today. Luckily the registers were still powered so I could check out. Funny watching people shop with their phone flashlights.

    No excuse needed. It is a vintage razor, cleaned up and honed by @gssixgun. I do not know the exact production date but everything I have read about the DD would suggest 1940’s era.
