The sample GFT Spanish Leather I have was a little dried out so it took a little effort to get a good lather, but I did enjoy the performance and was very pleased with the scent. I may need to get a full bowl of this. The 636 was my first "real" brush that I purchased about 4 years ago, and is still my favorite.

This is the first shave where things ever clicked for me when I was just learning. The only difference was the blade, preferring IRP Personna at the time. I didn't have any of them, so I used a GSB. It was a nice comfortable two pass shave. Not as close as the recent SE shaves, but definitely close enough. Enjoy your day.

First time I'll be using the GEM razor back-to-back. I will be throwing a fresh blade in it. Should be interesting. No matter the shave result I'll smell like I made a pact with the devil to sell my soul in exchange for being the best smelling man in the world.

Thanks. Yeah, I like the orange, too. Following up the sweet orange with the "smoked" orange of Nordost really brings home that flamed orange peel essence that's otherwise quite subtle when you use Nordost by itself.
